Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

We are located in Chitranjan Marg, C Scheme, Jaipur, near Navyam dukan and around the corner from Anokhi Cafe. Exact details, location map and how best to find us, will be sent when booking is confirmed.

Why no phone number?

Our phone number is not listed due to the number of unwanted calls we would receive. We're sorry not to be able to offer this feature however we are often in therapy sessions and so there is no one to answer the phone and so email, Facebook messenger or Instagram are the best ways to contact us.

How to book?

Sessions can be booked by contacting us through our contact us section, you can also email us at r.massagejaipur@gmail.com or through Instagram and Facebook.

Do treatments have to be booked in advance?

Whilst we may occasionally have some last minute, same day sessions available, this is rare and sessions need to be booked a day in advance. Booking in advance ensures you get the space and time you want.

Can we just turn up?

Please note, visits are by appointment only. It's not possible to simply turn up and be seen as it's likely that we are in therapy or class sessions and are unavailable. You can get in touch with us if you want to schedule a visit with us. This includes enquiries. Please don't simply turn up, get in touch first, otherwise it could be a wasted journey.

Cancellation policy

We require a 24 hour notice otherwise 50% of the treatment cost will be charged and no further treatments can be booked or taken until this balance is paid. This is to keep things fair as we often have other clients who would have taken the space and our team have kept themselves free. If you cancel with more than 24 hours notice there is no charge, as this gives us the opportunity to offer the session to another client and keeps everyone happy. We appreciate things come up but the time has been set aside and this ensures a level of commitment to keeping the appointment.

How to book on a class?

You can find out more about our classes via the classes page on the drop down menu. On there it has information about the different classes we offer and the booking link. You can also click on this link here https://jrtclasses.setmore.com/bookclasswhich will also take you to the booking page.

Class sessions must be booked and paid for in advance. Refunds are given if the class is cancelled with more than 12 hours notice. If less than 12 hours notice, the payment is non refundable, as our instructors have set aside their time for the class. We appreciate your understanding with this.

What treatments do you offer?

You can find out about the different treatments we offer by clicking on the menu and exploring all our different treatments. We aim to offer lots for body and mind, so there's something to cover all your different needs. From various massage related treatments to remedial, pain and muscular related issues, dry needling to yoga, strength and fitness training and a range of meditation techniques to aid clarity and stillness. How long is a treatment?

Treatments vary in length from 40 minutes back treatments to 2 hour therapy sessions. You can check out the treatment prices page to see the prices and length of treatments. Sessions can also be combined together to have a morning or afternoon of you time with a mix of massage and meditation.

What are the costs?

Prices can be found on our treatment prices page, along with a long list of the various treatments we offer. You can check out the prices, check out the treatment you're after and drop me an email or message and we'll get the process started.

What are the payment methods?

Payment can be made via cash, Paytm or Gpay.

What if I have medical conditions or have injuries?

As a remedial therapy centre, working with people with aches, pains, chronic conditions, muscular issues and specific medical conditions is what we do. We adapt the treatment to make it accessible to as many people as possible as we believe massage and remedial therapy should be available to everyone wherever possible. We are used to treating people with a range of medical conditions and injuries and with over fifteen years experience Dannie has a lot of experience adapting sessions and understanding certain conditions or issues.

It's helpful if you let us know about the issue at the time of booking but don't let any medical conditions or injuries hold you back from enquiring or having a session.

How will I feel after my treatment?

Most people feel very relaxed after their session, even after deep tissue massage or dry needling where both treatments can be a bit more intense. People tend to feel a variety of things from being tired, to easier within the muscles, more soothed and relaxed, perhaps a bit achier in some of the muscles they have previously been experiencing problems with. Sometimes people report feeling a bit emotional as they let go of held in emotion.

There's many possibilities of how you may feel but on the whole, most people report feeling, relaxed, less stressed, freer in the muscles, greater range of mobility, some soreness, some tiredness and a general feeling of calmness.

Do you offer treatments to males?

At Jaipur Remedial Therapies we offer treatments to women only or international tourists. Whilst some may feel this is unfair, the safety of our female only staff is paramount to us and past negative experiences make it so that we only offer treatments to women.

Lead time for appointments?

Generally sessions need a minimum of a days notice. We get booked up quite a bit and have other ongoing projects such as Indi-ssentials and so are not available at same day notice. If you get in touch asking about a same day appointment, we're likely to only answer if we have space. The more notice you can give us the greater the chance of getting a slot and time that suits you best.

What to expect in a treatment session?

When booking a session, we always recommend setting aside an extra 20 minutes. This gives you time for having a chat at the beginning of the session to go through your medical history and for us to chat about how best to do the treatment. After deciding on the treatment plan for the day, you are left to change and get on the table. The session is carried out. At the end of the session, the therapist will leave the room and you are given privacy to re-dress. A towel is provided to wipe any excess oil on, however we only use a small amount of aromatherapy oil in the session as our kinds of treatments do not require lots of oil. Please note, shower facilities are not available here. This is not Ayurvedic massage and so showering after is not required.

Dannie will then have a chat with you regarding your session and how she found the body and what muscles are weak, tight or restricted. She can then advise on how best to proceed and the session comes to an end for you to continue the rest of your day.

If you have any further questions, please do get in touch.
